Dubai: Starting October 1, 2021, the largest event in the Arab region to date will welcome people from all over the world in a matter of days, 75 to be exact, and now you can be a part of the historic fair in just a few clicks.
Expo 2020 Dubai inaugurated its online booking system on Sunday, with ticket pricing starting at Dh95 per day and free admission for certain organizations.
Here’s a rundown of all the different ticket kinds and their prices:
- Adults (ages 18 to 59): Dh95 for a one-day ticket
- Dh195 for a 30-day multi-day pass (unrestricted entrance for 30 days from the first day of use).
- Season pass (unlimited tickets for the full six months of Expo 2020): Dh495
- Free tickets, which must be reserved, available for the following groups:
People of Determination, whose companion will be charged 50 percent of the ticket price.
Children and youth from six to 17 years old with a valid ID; Any visitor under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Tertiary and higher education students with valid academic credentials from any institution in the world.
For children under the age of six, booking on-site is a requirement and cannot be booked online.
Visitors are aged 60 and over.
- For families, there is a package priced at Dh950, which includes:
Two season tickets for adults.
A season pass for a babysitter.
A ‘Advance Purchase Photographer Voucher’ worth 125 dirhams.
25% discount on five multi-day passes.
Note: Advance reservation may be required on peak days and admission depends on-site capacity.

Book online your tickets for Expo 2020
While there are 2,500 authorized ticket resellers for the event, visitors from around the world can also access the official Expo website and mobile app for direct bookings. (The official mobile app for the Expo will be launched in September 2021).
Step 1: book a day ticket, season pass, and multi-day
Visit the official website of Expo 2020 Dubai: www.expo2020dubai.com.
Hover over the “Tickets and merchandise” option from the menu above and select “Tickets.”
Scroll through the three standard ticket types “Day Ticket,” “Season Pass,” and “Multi-Day Pass,” and carefully read the options listed below each; To book the “Family Package”, you can select the “Packages” tab at the top.
Depending on your eligibility, whether you are an adult (18-59 years old), a youth (6-17 years old), an elderly person (60+ years old), or a determined person, click on the ‘+’ sign to add the preferred amount of tickets to your shopping cart.
Click on “Add to Cart” at the bottom right of the screen and then on the “Payment Page” button that will appear at the top.
Note: Even if you qualify for free tickets, the Expo requires all visitors to obtain a ticket to enter.
Step 2:
You will be redirected to the payment page, where you will have to fill in your personal details.
Enter your full name, email, mobile phone number, country of residence, and nationality.
On the right-hand side, you can see a summary of your ticket (s) and the total price, before clicking “Continue” to go to the payment page.
Here, you have three payment options for your ticket (s): credit/debit card, Google Pay, and Union Pay. For the card, you can enter the cardholder’s name, card number, expiration date, and three-digit security code to continue.
Once confirmed, you will receive your reservation ID and a digital copy of your ticket to your registered email address.
Note: To enter the venue, you will need a printed or digital version of your ticket at the entrance.
