In an alert sent to business partners, Qatar Airways, citing Qatar’s immigration policy, said that Pakistani citizens could obtain a tourist visa valid for 30 days by paying a fee of QAR 100, which can be extended for a similar period. To make use of the facility, Pakistani travelers must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with vaccines approved by the Qatari Ministry of Public Health, having completed a period of 14 days after the last dose before the trip. Travelers must also submit negative PCR test results performed within 48 hours of arrival.
According to information available on the Qatar Airways website, the country’s Ministry of Public Health has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, while the Sinopharm vaccine has been conditionally approved.
