KUWAIT – Passengers who have got two doses of the Sinopharm, Sinovac, or Sputnik vaccinations can only enter Kuwait if they have received a third dosage of one of the country’s recognized vaccines.
Vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Oxford-AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson have been approved by the government.
Kuwait’s government has already announced that direct flights will be resumed.
All passengers traveling in Kuwait must produce a negative PCR test completed no more than 72 hours previous to their arrival, according to the ministry.
Those who have been immunized must quarantine for seven days after they arrive in Kuwait. If the traveler wants to finish their quarantine sooner, they must present documentation of a negative PCR test completed after their arrival in Kuwait, as well as their vaccination records.
As of August 1, only fully vaccinated expats can enter the country and Kuwaiti citizens can only travel if they have received both doses of the vaccine.
Domestic workers who have not been vaccinated are permitted to enter Kuwait but must be confined in a hotel for 14 days after their arrival. — Organizations
