List of UAE Approved Vaccines Travelers can enter Dubai and the UAE and enjoy the relaxation of quarantine only if they have received a vaccine approved by UAE authorities. So far, the following four vaccines have received the go-ahead in the Emirates:
- Sinopharm
- Oxford / AstraZeneca, i.e. Covishield
- Pfizer / BioNTech
- Sputnik V
- Modern
We will update this list when the country authorizes more vaccines.
Please note that the Dubai Health Authority has clarified that “The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and Covishield are the same vaccines.”
Which vaccinated travelers can travel to the UAE now?
Visitors from prohibited countries
Dubai, which had previously excluded all passengers from the COVID-19 hotspots of India, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Uganda & nbsp; has now eased its restrictions for vaccinated travelers, provided they have obtained prior entry & nbsp; approval of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA ) and, if they reside in Dubai, & nbsp; General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA).
Starting August 5, a special grant was awarded to fully vaccinated residents inoculated in the UAE, healthcare workers, humanitarian cases, and those employed in federal and local government agencies.
